Thinking about buying some TOMS...

I'm thinking about buying a pair of TOMS shoes since I'm stuck in Texas until sometime in the beginning of November and all I really have are flip-flops. I'm thinking it's about to get really cold and I'm going to freeze to death here without a pair of decent shoes. lol I really want to paint them and I'm wondering what kind of theme I should go with. Sailor Moon's brooches and maybe some henshin pens are on my mind right now. And they would definitely match my tattoo. But I would also like to do a pair with yarn, knitting needles, and crochet hooks on them. I also have absolutely no idea what color to get. :/ Any suggestions?
